This is my favourite Love at First Sight book yet! Mia Madison is always at the top of my TBR list, because they are well-written, quick reads with sweet story lines and super hot, steamy scenes. There's always a HEA and quite often an age difference (older man/younger woman romances are one of my weaknesses!).
Ever since Charlie was a little girl, she's only ever pictured one Prince Charming in her future. Her childhood crush was on her Dad's best friend Owen and he was everything that she imagined in the perfect prince. As she grew older and her fantasies became more adult, she started to see that he'd also make the perfect partner. She assumed her crush was unrequited, but when he unexpectedly appeared at her 21st birthday party and invited her out to lunch for the following day, she feels a glimmer of hope.
It looks like a date, it seems like a date, I'm pretty sure her Mom even caught on that it was a date, but her Dad was none the wiser as they left for lunch together. By the end of their birthday celebration together, Charlie knows now that this isn't just a childish crush. It's got the potential to be real love and it's reciprocated. And that secret birthday gift? Um, yup he's all in.

I'm a huge fan of all of Mia Madison's work, standalones as well as series, but I have to admit to being partial to her series'. The way they're perfect on their own but so much more enriching together! And you don't have to say goodbye completely to some of your favorite characters and can see some of their progression along the way! Love!
Charlie hasn't ever been able to date, so she's 21 and never-been-kissed, innocent. Because Owen is her dad's best friend, he could never want her...right?
I am a big fan of the age gap trope in general, but sometimes the great moments are in the subtleties. Charlie is almost "too" young...stunted, kept really small and naive by strict parents. Owen knows that, and he accounts for it, which is lovely. Charlie may not be a heroine for everyone's taste, but her voice is strong and consistent and insists the reader confront the story in full; this is a distinct edge over many of the "New Adult Virgins" who are drawn flat, or given out of character "business" to mark some sort of backbone or quirkiness.
Charolette has been in love with Owen for as long as she can remember.
Owen is also in in love with Charlie.
Owen is Landon's best friend.
Landon is Charlie's father. Dum, dee, dum, dum, DUUUM!!!

After years of what started out a girlish crush and Owen moving away because of his feelings for her, Charlie is in full blown love with him. When Owen moves back to claim Charlie they confess their feelings. They sneak around for a while. Until Owen can't take it any more.
This is where Landon comes back into the ring. Ding, ding.
Come see who's left standing where when the bell sounds again.
Poor Landon is about to get hit with a double whammy.
I so enjoyed this story. Previous folks make appearances, also.
Loved the sexy story of Owen and Charlotte. We caught up with characters from previous books in this series. Loved.
Good book with a great storyline that kept me guessing about what would happen til the end. Recommend this book to anyone
As most in this trope go, it's pretty well guessed from the beginning how this story will go. Nevertheless, it's a fun journey getting there. I like how Mia has linked all the books in this series through the main female characters, it's fun to see some of my favorites show up at the end. Great story, and yes, Owen is sexy as all get out.
